I love photography, don’t you? There’s so many creative things you can do. I can’t wait until the weather gets better just so I can go outside and get some cool shots to play around with.

I am getting more and more into animations. I will be posting some fun stuff here soon. There’s so many great things you can do with animation. I love the idea of a photo, that comes to life, but is not quite a video.ย

Here is the idea. .. Click on the picture and see what happens. Let me know if you have something specific you’d like to see. I love getting project ideas from other people. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yep, I have some more photos up on the world wide web! This time it’s abstract photos of a new law firm in town, Talboy Simmons.

I went to their office, took all sorts of abstract type photos of business cards, books, and all sorts of things. They used these photos to enhance their new website.

Check out the photos HERE. There are different pics on every header, so don’t forget to browse around.

I really love doing abstract work. I love being able to take my time going around and finding the best lighting and angles without being in a rush.

If you know anyone who may need help customizing, updating, or visually displaying their website with some amazing photos – I AM THE WOMAN FOR THE JOB! ย ๐Ÿ™‚

Here are some pictures of my babies searching for the Easter Bunny! ๐Ÿ™‚

They are pretty cute. (they are made that way so that I won’t kick them across the room when they tick me off) haha. They are actually very ornery.

Let me know what you think ๐Ÿ™‚

Recently we got a new member of our family. Butch. He’s a Chihuahua/Pug mix and he’s tiny and adorable. I’ve been trying to think of ways to get cute pictures of him. The problem is, if he’s awake he is all over the place and just way to crazy to get anything creative. Therefore, I have to take them when he is passed out.

Last weekend I put him in a cereal bowl and had some success. He actually stayed asleep and I was able to make him a “Cocoa Puff.” So far it’s a big hit. What shall we try next??

Yes, it’s true… the iPad 2 comes out tomorrow at 5pm. I have to admit I’m excited about it.ย I didn’t get the first generation, I’ve waited, planned, researched, etc. I wanted to see what the Xoom was going to be all about first also. Well, I made my decision to get the new iPad 2. The $300 difference between it and the Xoom is just too much to justify me getting the Motorola. ย The new iPad has a great video application that I’m really excited to try out. I’m also not a musician, but I might become one with the new Garage Band app that is on the new iPad. ๐Ÿ™‚

I will let you know all about it once I start using it. Should be great for ALL of the business I do. I plan to use it for photography, video, volleyball, stats, and even for the court reporting job. Can’t wait!

Let me know if any of you get one and what you think of it!

Saturday was a Valentines party at the Powerhouse events center with dinner & comedy. Of course I shot the photos of the night, which you can find HERE. There was a really great turn out. The house was packed for the first show. The comedians were good and it seemed like everyone got some good laughs and had a good time. I do enjoy shooting these types of things since most everyone seems happy and really enjoying themselves. Not to mention I had about 16 friends that came to the show in honor of my birthday! Overall, a great success!

Happy Valentines Day to everyone! Whether you’re single, divorced, married or whatever… you can believe that Vday is really just a Hallmark holiday, like I do, but still there is nothing wrong with another excuse/reason to tell our friends and family that we love them! You don’t have to buy flowers or candy for that! Just use your words and express to the special people in your life how you feel. Don’t wait until it’s too late. โค

Here is a great article about logo design & freelancing from a designers perspective.

The same information applies to photography, video, etc. This is a good read if you are a freelancer or if you are someone who hires freelance artists.

It’s called “Why professional logo design does not cost $5” written by Jacob Cass. Check it out!

I agree with what Jacob is saying and this is why I do not put out generic price lists for my services or have enormous wedding photo packages, etc. Every event is very different and therefore should not be charged the same. I give personalized & guaranteed quotes to every client!

Also, this is a logo I just designed for Prime Athlete! Not stock. Not too busy. Not too plain. Eye catching. That’s what it’s all about people! ๐Ÿ™‚
